
This zucchini stew is quick to make since zucchini is a vegetable that really doesn’t require long heat treatment. In just 15-20 minutes, the stew will be ready to serve. Customize the taste of the stew. You can add some chopped dill to it if you like it. You can add a bit of hot pepper and the dish will gain both color and spiciness. Also, if you don’t have sour cream on hand, feel free to add some yogurt. Play with the flavors and make zucchini stew your favorite zucchini dish.

- INGREDIENTS:
- 3 zucchini
- 1 onion
- 1 liter of milk
- 4 spoons of sharp flour
- 4 tablespoons of sour cream vegetables,
- salt, pepper
- 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
- PREPARATION:
- 1. Grate the zucchini, add salt and let it rest for a while. Then drain them with your hands from excess liquid.
- 2. Fry chopped onion in oil until it softens a little, add red pepper and flour, stir and add grated and drained zucchini.
- 3. Pour in the milk while constantly stirring so that no flour lumps remain. Season to taste and let it boil.
- 4. Cook on a low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently so that it does not burn.
- 5. At the end, add sour cream, stir and boil briefly. If necessary, add a little water if it is too thick and season if necessary.
Serve warm with mashed potatoes as a stand-alone meatless dish or as a side dish with meatballs or other meat roasts. Lettuce goes perfectly!
